Crystalline Glazes
Crystals grow in a glaze as it is molten during firing. The kiln is fired to 1280°C, cooled, then held at around 1060°C for 4 hours.
Southern Ice Porcelain
The last six images are closeups of a glaze containing zinc, oxides and titanium.These were the first results of crystalline glaze tests in June 2013.
